[Note: In the paper by Wagner et al. 2013 (Int J Syst Evol Microbiol. 2013, 63, 2986–2991), the type strain of Methanosarcina soligelidi is erroneously cited as DSM 20065, the correct number of that strain is DSM 26065]. Listed until 09/2015 as Streptococcus bovis. The 16S RNA gene sequence displays highest homology to Streptococcus gallolyticus subsp. macedonicus. (Medium 693, 37°C, microaerobic or Medium 92, 37°C, microaerobic). |
