| Cultivation conditions: | Medium 1592 , 23°C At the DSMZ, the cyanobacterial cultures are usually cultivated without agitation in 25 cm2 plastic tissue culture flasks with filter screw caps. To subculture DSM 101300 shake the flask gently to disperse the cyanobacteria and use 10 ml to inoculate 10 ml of fresh medium in a new tissue culture flask.
